 Our history
EPACTA SYSTEMY INFORMACYJNE (Epacta Information Systems) is a commercial company, operating in the IT products and services market since 1997 (including the previous legal forms of the business).
We specialize in creating solutions based on IBM technology (Lotus Notes, Lotus Domino, Lotus Workflow, IBM Workplace, etc.).
In 1999 the company was titled a Lotus Business Partner (later IBM Business Partner and IBM Advanced Business Partner).
In 2001 EPACTA received a prize from Lotus Development Polska for promoting intranet & internet solutions based on the Lotus Domino platform.
Epacta has also received III prize in the national competition Złoty BIT (Golden BIT). A committee consisting of editors-in-chief of the Polish IT and telecommunications magazines: Enter, Computer Reseller News, Internet, LinuxPlus, PC Kurier, Software 2.0, Teleinfo, Telenet Forum and Windows 2000 Magazine Polish edition awarded a honourable mention to our customer – Bank Zachodni WBK S.A. and Epacta — for the „Expert” intranet system in the following category: „Best Information Flow System”.
In 2003 in the same competition EPACTA won the main prize in the „Best Information Flow System” category for implementing an information flow system at Grundfos Pompy Sp. z o.o. Also in 2003 a CRM-class application developed by our company was purchased by an international corporation operating in the agricultural industry and is currently a corporate standard in several Central and Eastern Europe countries.
In 2004 we implemented a CRM-class system in the Ukraine branch of an international corporation and in 2005 we started implementing an identical application in Romania.
